FAQs
What's the difference between all the grades? |
Premier Grades
Premier grades 1-2 are the top competitive grades. Clubs must successfully compete to earn team places in the premier grades. In 2023, we finished the year with three teams in these grades: Two in Premier 1, a competitive Premier 2 team. Players who have played in a top level school grade or in premier competitions previously and Rep players should trial for Premier grades. Senior grades Players who played top level through school and/or at a high level previously should trial for the Senior grades. Players who are newer to netball or have been away from the game for a while, social players or those just waiting to play to improve their fitness, this is also the grade for you. If you are not sure which grade you should trial for, please indicate this on your registration form. |
When, where and how long are games?
|
Games are 4 x 15 minute quarters for Premier 1 & 2 teams, and 4 x 10 minute quarters for all other grades. Game times will vary throughout the season ‐ the first round is at 9am and the last is at 4pm.

|
Do I have to train? |
All members of competitive teams will be expected to train on Tuesday evenings inside Walter Nash Centre, Taita. Premier 1 teams may have more than one training per week. Self-entered teams may train if they choose to do so at their own expense.

Can college students play for the club? |
It is preferable that students play with their school sports teams. However, we recognise that in some cases schools are not able to meet the needs of college students and we welcome college players as part of our club. Our expectation is that college players fully commit to the teams they are part of.
